                                                                              What are NVQ's?

NVQ's are qualifications that use "occupational standards" to define competence in the occupation covered by the NVQ. Candidates wanting to achive are normally "assessed" in their place of work, this means that NVQ's are highly relevant to the industry the company and to the candidate.

                                                                             Why choose an NVQ?

Many companies particularly in construction now find that employees require the qualification to allow them to work in their particular industry. As an example current plant operators working on a Red card will need to complete an NVQ to move onto a Blue card.
