The Engineering Construction Industry Training Board (ECITB) is the statutory organisation, national training provider and awarding body with responsibility for the training and development of the UK’s engineering construction workforce. Acting on behalf of the industry, the ECITB works closely with Government and employers to attract, develop and qualify engineering construction personnel in hundreds of skills and disciplines. The CCNSG Safety Passport is recognised throughout the UK and ensures that all holders have a basic knowledge of Health & Safety.

The International Powered Access Federation (IPAF) promotes the safe and effective use of powered access worldwide. Successful trainees are awarded the PAL Card (Powered Access Licence); the most widely held and recognised proof of training for Mobile Elevated Working platforms (MEWP) operators.

Lantra Awards is an Awarding Body for land-based and environmental industries. They work with employers, trade associations, unions, learning and training providers, Governments and public agencies - to ensure the UK's land-based and environmental industries have access to the skills they need.

National Plant Operators Registration Scheme Limited (NPORS) is one of the UK’s leading accrediting training bodies in the construction, distribution and utilities industries. The main objective of NPORS is to meet the needs of the employer to help and assist in providing an adequately trained workforce within the UK. Holders of the NPORS Operator Card gain a record of training/assessment which shows the individual has undertaken to prove their ability to safely operate or drive an item of plant machinery or equipment.

Nuco Training is the UK's leading awarding body and independent company in First Aid training. The provision of First Aid has gone through significant changes recently, with a complete review of the HSE Approved Code of Practice (ACOP), and Nuco Training had a significant role in the development of the new programmes. Nuco are able to offer a range of First Aid qualifications for employees in the workplace.

PASMA (Prefabricated Access Suppliers’ and Manufacturers’ Association) formed in 1974, and comprising the major manufacturers of alloy access towers in the UK, the Association's original objectives were to promote the safe use of alloy access towers. Today, PASMA is best known for its training programme which has helped more than 24,000 users in the year 2009 alone to improve their safety and operational performance. The PASMA Accreditation is the most recognised qualification in the safe use of mobile access tower scaffolding.

RTITB is the largest forklift truck training accrediting body in the UK and is recognised by the HSE.
